The new repeater site at the Forts is now in test mode and is due to commence full transmission from Friday 17th June at 11.00am.

During the period to 17th June, anyone trying to locate the new signal on their TV should find better reception on all channels.

The services are ABC-56, SBS-59, STQ-65, RTQ-68 and TNQ-62

All households in HORSESHOE BAY will receive a householder delivered notice with instructions on how to use the new signal opportunity during this week (15th- 22nd June)

If you do not wish to attempt to find the new service opportunity yourself, please consult a qualified TV (See "Television Antennas" in the Magnetic Informer).

The Federal Government's DCITA grant for this project was obtained and administered by MICDA for the benefit of the community of Magnetic Island.
