Tonight (Friday 19 May), for the fourth time on Magnetic Island, the Buddha's birth, enlightment and final passing will be celebrated by Magnetic Buddha Dharma. All interested people are welcome to join in the evening of chanting and traditional Buddhist rituals that will take place at 5 The Grove, Nelly Bay.

The celebration will include: Aquapella, Magnetic Island's World Music Choir, who will sing devotional songs and Magnetic Buddha Dharma's members will also conduct chanting, candle light trails and wishes for world peace. The celebration will be followed by a vegetarian supper. Offerings of incense, flowers and vegetarian finger food will be welcomed.

Magnetic Buddha Dharma meets every Sunday mornings from 10am to 12noon for chanting, meditation and teachings at 5 The Grove Nelly Bay.
