What's On: December 2008
As the end of another year on Magnetic Island draws closer it's time for locals to catch up for the many end-of-year parties and prepare for the Christmas holiday influx. Many will no doubt be gathering for the annual fun and pleasure of Carols by Candlelight which returns to Alma Bay on Thursday 11th. Others may opt to think globally and act locally by attending Walk Against Warming in Townsville on Sunday the 7th. Then, of course, there are the wonderful foreshore Markets at Horseshoe Bay on the 21st for last minute gifts and yet another - just for chilling out - on the 28th. Life goes on - Magnetically.Regular weekly events on Magnetic Island can be found (here) and listings of a wider range of events from across the Townsville area can be found at New Townsville City Council's Events Calendar (here)
If you know of public events not listed that you think we should include email: editor@magnetictimes.com so we can post them accordingly.
