Free multi-media workshops with La Luna
Free Multimedia workshops in theatre and film, for young people who are 13 to 18 years of age, will be starting on July 21 at the Riverway Arts Centre.In a release to Magnetic Times the organisers, Lifeline Community Care NQ in partnership with the Xstrata Community Partnership Program NQ, advised they will once again be providing FREE Multimedia Workshops in theatre and film for high school students under the direction of La Luna Youth Arts. This will conclude in a staged performance at the RiverWay Arts centre.
Last year's workshops and staged performance of “LOL” were a huge success and resulted in being awarded the Townsville Arts Award for best Multimedia production in 2008.
This is the fifth year of the highly successful workshops.
Workshops commence on Tuesday, 21 July from 4pm till 6 pm and run every week until the free public performance begins in the 1st week of December. Prior registration is essential.
