With Bay Days and the Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week starting officially on Friday 4 September it is important to note that the venue has now been changed from the Arcadia Surf Life Saving Club on the beach at Alma Bay to the Island Tavern just over the road.

The free event runs from 6.30pm – 9.00pm and will feature a special Toad Race with the croaking Toad Marshall himself, Mr Vern Jack, from 8pm.

A barbeque dinner will be available with all proceeds going to the Arcadia Surf Life Saving Club.

Live music by “Pop” will be performed on the pool side of the pub and continue after the official event is over at 9pm. There will also be promotions, games and prizes to be won in the Gaming Bar (No under 18’s).

Magnetic Island Bus Service has provided complimentary transfers from Nelly Bay Harbour to the function from 6.15pm.
