The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service are conducting a planned burn today Tuesday 30th May 2011 on Magnetic Island as part of the planned burn program.

As a result, smoke will be seen coming from near Mandalay Avenue in Nelly Bay.

Rangers will be working along the Nelly Bay Fire Access Tracks.
