It's that time of year again, with a certain present-giving period in mind, the Magnetic Island History and Craft Centre’s, limited edition, 2012 calendars, which began way back in 2004, are again on sale.

The 2012 calendar, Magnetic by Nature, highlights the natural beauty of Magnetic Island and features images of the Island’s iconic rocky headlands, boulders and hoop pines.

‘Each image in the calendar is matched to a comment taken mostly from newspapers from as early as the 1870s’, said Magnetic Island History and Craft Centre President, Zanita Davies.

‘Despite development on the Island many of those early comments are still relevant.’

Magnetic by Nature is a limited edition calendar with only 225 copies available. Orders can be made by contacting Zanita Davies on 0488050145. Sales have begun so copies need to be secured promptly.

Calendars are $30 each including delivery within Australia and will be available for distribution mid November. Copies are secured only by payment.
