Island of "Emotional Intelligence"
Magnetic Island will host a special seminar for those who enjoy the philosophies of higher awareness, with this Saturday's Emotional Intelligence event at Nelly Bay.Pauline Douglas, facilitator and coach of the program, will conduct The Seven Steps to Awakening Intuition, a program she describes as about advanced "emotional dynamics" in which she will teach participants how to deal more powerfully with emotional reactions for better health, happiness and relationships.
Pauline told Magnetic Times, "We form relationships with everybody and everything in life, including our lovers, friends, co-workers and material wealth. When that relationship breaks down, we find ourselves feeling worthless and helpless. We seem to lose control to our emotions and feelings, to do and say things we regret later.
"The truth is however, there is no such thing as a relationship or financial problem, only an Emotional Intelligence problem. We are being controlled by our intuitive responses. These seminars are an opportunity to learn more about how our psyche works and what may be holding us, and those special people in our life, back from peace of mind and achievement."
The Seminar is intended to teach participants how to dismantle unwanted emotions and feelings and to be less reactive to the challenges of life. They will uncover their "Magnetic Personality" to attract co-operation and positive outcomes in all relationships.
Pauline, rather ironically, combines her "higher awareness" knowledge with a marketing profession, which she sees, "at opposite ends of the spectrum" observing that, "Marketing is the development of belief systems. Emotional intelligence is the breaking down of belief systems".
A Cairns resident, Pauline conducts her programs in most major cities of Australia in between the promotion of aquaculture ventures, and the webmastering of her websites - including singlesconnect.com.au.
Her "Seven steps to awakening Intuition" will be held at the Gembhala Bali Cottages, 28 Mango Parkway, Nelly Bay this Saturday from 9.30am to 9.30pm
