It's been 8 years since the last clash and for the nine previous encounters, Picnic-Nelly were victorious. But, last Sunday, the tables were turned and Horseshoe-Arcadia won the 2012 Magnetic Island Rugby League Bay of Origin.

Magnetic Times is looking forward to publishing a more full account of the action from an Islander with a much better handle on the details. As all who attended (most of Magnetic Island it seemed) will know, Horseshoe - Arcadia defeated Picnic - Nelly by 22 to 18.
