Did you know that every 26 seconds a child is being lured or sold into the sex trade. And that there are approximately 2 million children currently trapped in sexual slavery. If you would like to help rescue some of these children from their unimaginable misery Rotary Magnetic Island is organising a very attractive opportunity to do just that and it's happening this Saturday.

Rotary Magnetic Island, working with Grant and Lindsay from Providential Magic, have come together to raise $2000 for Destiny Rescue - an organisation dedicated to rescuing children from sexual slavery and supporting them to a brighter future.

The fundraiser is an evening sail on board Providence V, a 62-foot gaff-rigged schooner which will take you around the magnificent western beaches of Magnetic Island.

The sail includes a complimentary champagne and nibbles, followed by a BBQ on the deck watching the sun go down. It's 3 hours plus of Magnetic Island's natural beauty from the deck of the only tall ship in our region and it will also help save a child from a terrible fate.
