One of Magnetic Island's great accommodation secrets is one of its oldest. Tucked away at the end of Cook Road in beautiful Arcadia, Forest Haven is owned and operated by a fifth generation Island family who know all there is about the authentic Magnetic Island experience and will quickly make you feel like a local.
Situated right beneath the stunning granite outcrops, which rise above Magnetic's prettiest, populated bay at Arcadia, Forest Haven is situated within 3/4 acres of tropical gardens which back onto the World Heritage National Park.
Forest Haven has a rich history dating back to World War II. The main building was completed in 1947 but a part of the complex was used in WWII as barracks for soliders manning The Forts observation point. It has been run as a guest house ever since.
Forest Haven is a very relaxed and quiet alternative to Magnetic's bigger and busier budget accommodation houses. Visitors are impressed at Forest Haven's truly inexpensive rates in such a superb location that has all the facilities you need for a no-hassle holiday - including:
*Free pick-up and return to the ferry terminal
*Laundry facilities
*Internet access
*All tour bookings
*Linen provided and of course
*swimming pool and barbeque areas.
The accommodation ranges from 1 or 2 bedroom self contained
